Lizzy brings joy to any room she enters. Her easy going nature and warm infectious spirit puts clients instantly at ease. Her reputation and experience gives them the confidence to trust she will create a home that will meet their needs and reflect their personality.
She excels at getting to know her clients and weaving their interests throughout their home so when they are in their space they truly feel like it reflects who they are.
After years of working with nationally renowned designers and agencies,
Lizzy opened LS Interior Design in 2005 in her hometown of Asheville. Lizzy's design process begins with the specific needs of the client and their individual style. With every project Lizzy seeks to incorporate furnishings and materials that are local, often reclaimed and something that speaks to the client’s specific tastes. When someone hires Lizzy they don’t just get her vision and the expertise of her team but of an entire team of local builders, craftsmen, contractors, and artists who excel at their job. Her rolodex is deep.
Lizzy has a solid understanding of the entire design-build process. This allows her to be completely hands-on, start to finish, and enables her to be the advocate for the homeowner to manage any issues that might arise. She is a constant fountain of Yes. We can work with this, this won’t be a problem, we can work around, we can find a solution, we can make this happen. She believes that as important as it is to love the completed project, the process itself should also be enjoyable.
Lizzy is always pushing herself and her team to create an environment that is even better than what the client had imagined for themselves. Her goal is to have every client walk into their space for the first time and feel welcomed home. It’s why so many of her clients when complimented on a design choice in their home will simply smile and say “it’s Lizzy.”
